Company history
Establishment of the company
Niditz Gellert Ltd. is a private company that started as a registered partnership of a small boiler manufacturing workshop. The workshop was established by Niditz Yosef and Gellert Mordechai in 1934 and was located in the southern commercial center of Tel Aviv, at 9 Market Street.
In 1959, Gellert Mordechai was killed in a car accident, and his son Gellert Yehuda joined in his place as a partner in the small workshop. At the initiative of Gellert Yehuda Hatzair, the partnership becomes a limited company, which continues to manufacture boilers and at the same time imports and markets metals to iron and steel, mainly copper and brass cans and copper piping.

In 1975 Yosef Niditz retired from the company and the Gellert family purchased his shares and began to be considered a family company according to all tax rules.
Little by little, the company abandons production and devotes itself to the trade in non-ferrous metals, and already in the early 1980s, the company controls most of the imports of copper pipes that reach Israel. The company grew and the place got smaller and in 1983 the company purchased land with an old building on it in the industrial area of Holon and moved the company and its warehouse there.
The years pass and we grow
In 1995, the company entered the new building that was erected in place of the old one.
Its area is about 4000 square meters, and it is equipped with the most advanced means of transportation in Israel and in the world.
A fleet of trucks and vans serves the wide clientele in all parts of the country.
In addition, the company exports its products to many countries in the world.
In 1997 the company opened a branch in Jerusalem. The branch develops gradually and carries itself.
The company complies with and is approved by an international standard of control and quality of products and service – ISO 9001; 2015.
In 2017, the warehouses were expanded when another building was built on the other side of the road with an area of about 6000 square meters.
